Would it melt???

I want to buy metal or aluminum same thing to me but would they melt the rims? plastics strip out all the time

I rock axial casted hexes on my 10.2 with aluminum and plastic wheels with no issues. My faster truck, my stampede 2wd, is getting Strc aluminum 17mm hexes. I'm still rebuilding so I can't answer on a 40+mph setup.

If the wheel is rounded or not a snug fit it can do more harm then good.

I dont know I tighten it snug like perfect but yet have stripped 4 hexes this year and before this year never have
