These are a couple of pics of what my Savage s-25 looked like after it ran in a pile of pallets in the back of where i work. I find that the damage is not that bad for the speed i was going...no biggie just thought i'd share this with my ONLY r/c buddies...PLUS i was a TOTAL orgasm to see the crash.:whhooo:

Nice work!
Time for some quality TVP's!

That sucks man. What were you doing going in reverse? lol be hard to do unless you got a reverse module though haha.

bad crash!! nice nuts on the wall!!!!

So, did it basically just bust in two like that? Or is it taken apart to show us what was tweaked?

I pulled an idiot move this weekend after I had my new to me savage running really good after breaking in the new XTM24.7 in it. Running in a skate park and getting ballsy with big jumps and flying around at high speeds in close quarters with concrete/steel everywhere. This is usually is when I pack up and leave before something stupid happens...

Well, I completely forgot that kids had moved a picnic table into the grass right where I normally would jump my aftershock out of the part at WOT. Of course, I hit it head on with my savage. WOT, in flight. Made the table end actually lift off the ground and drop with a gut wrenching thud as the savage also landed with a thud... still idling of course.

I walk over to it quickly preparing for the worst (something like how yours looks), and wouldn't you know it?!?!? NO FRIGGEN DAMAGE!!! I could not believe it. I could not have hit that table any harder if I tried. Drove another couple tanks with a grin on my face you would not believe.

No no, it really separated in half i swear!!
after the crash, i re-plugged the fuel line that had come off, re-started the engine and was going around with only the front end, that explain the scrapped edges of the 2 TVPs.Was pretty fun until the front diff started to f***-up but soon after the tank finished...

....WoW

Yeah man, the savage is a tough truck. it'll take a beating till the end and still keep going. you need a new diff now?

Wow. Boutch by name Ouch by nature?

That's a pretty major prang. I'd love to know how you broke the back off going forwards though, c'mon tell us please.

Well since you have it opened up like that good chance to clean your one way bearing out. Mind you that I would normally just suggest removing the engine not the back half of the the truck....but hey whatever is easier right?
