FLM, Dont feel so bad, i had my identity stolen, and they took $750,000 out of my bank account. I had roughly $1,500 in this account, so right now i am $748,500 overdrafted. Joy.

:whhooo: I admit I'm not very fluent in the banking industry, but HOW can anyone even attempt to take 750k from a bank account without some kind of red flags popping up everywhere.

That's a really sloppy bank to allow an account to go 3/4 of a million dollars in the negative. I hope that's a typo alpine. Either way, it sucks and I hope you can get it sorted out with some of wits still intact.

In the defense of the bank, it was an overseas purchase, out of spain, and the item that was purchased was a hopped up sports car from some place called IT Tuners in spain. Got some of our internet fraud detectives checking it out.

Jesus. That's really rough. If anyone tries that on cards in the UK the card companies decline the transaction and stick your card on stop. They even put mine on stop when I tried to pay CKRC 397 USD, just because it was over 100 GBP and overseas. I fail absolutely to see how the hell anyone could get a transaction for 750,000 USD to even CLEAR on an account with 1,500 in it, nevermind to have to go through the recovery process. I've had my card details stolen before and had my leg lifted for about 380 GBP, but that's insane...
