bieng that the winter is now pretty much over and doing one thing or another all winter to my rc's i think i am finding that i enjoy wrenching and modifying my rc's more than playing with them.so i was just curious who else besides rolex(because i hear he won't take them out of the house.lol) enjoys wrenching on their rc's more than playing with them?

I like upgrading when they're not broken lol. Not sure I really like fixing them but I always do, I don't take them anywhere and have someone else do it

IDK about liking it "more" but it is definately a high point for me. i was able to build 2 scale rigs and 2 comp crawlers over the winter all custom 1 offs with custom chassis's, suspension links, steering setups, and braces. I also took the time to clean and rebuild 2 nitros to have them ready for the coming season. I have the garage but actually took over the kitchen table for weeks at a time during the winter. I think my wife is glad the good weather is coming back so she can have her kitchen back again

I enjoy the build more than the play time more and more as I age...

I also prefer Phins Fans' previous avitar over this one.:puke:

+1 Snook. I enjoy building/modifying them more than i enjoy driving them.

I agree, it's a good feeling starting with bags of parts in a box and then finishing with a working car or truck. For me, building it where it's at.

I love how you guys have winters.
In Australia where I live there is no winter. Not all of Australia, but the north qld tropics.

I love the building and tinkering but once it's built and modded I don't want to work on it.

Not to pile on... but for me its all about the build. Getting the box from the UPS guy to setting all the bags out in order, opening the manual and ending up with a rig at the end is the best. I try to build one kit a year... but I don't have that kind of space! LOL
