Hey, if it works use it! :thumbup1: I still have one that I threw together with an old 1x4 that I had laying around. Made it about 10 years ago, put corkboard on the top. People (including me) forget the good old basics and try to keep up with the next guy.

excactly...I go for what works....and this works..lol Its not ideal....and no where near pretty....but I had the wood and the honest 2 minutes to cut and nail together...but Itll hold the truck upside down great also:thumbup1:

It works and that's what counts! Try finding some old rubber mat or corkboard to staple on the top to help slipping.

I found a music store here in town and I printed out that picture of that stand in the first thread, and they are like wth is that, and I tried to tell them.. and they said there was no such thing..I'am going to have to buy them off ebay..we are looking for great gifts to giveaway @ the track..
