Wondering if this is a good price

I was wondering if $180 for a stock Nitro 4-Tec with the 2.5 motor
was a bad price. The car is used but looks to be in good condition. If the link below works take a look and tell me what you think. Matt

Doesn't say how much fuel has been run through it, but if it was a lot they wouldn't tell you that anyway. New they cost $319 at most hobby stores, so if you're looking for a 4-Tec, if this one is in good condition then it looks to be a good deal!

Also, if the engine is shot and you have to purchase another engine, you're looking at around $130 or so. With that said, is it worth $180 if you can get a brand new one for $140 more and be sure of every part on the car's quality? When you buy something in used condition off the net it's a risk man, it just depends on if it's worth it to you or not.

i think that 180 is a good price even if it ends up being just a starting platform ... i would have been worrysome of the only pic of the car without the shell on , it had a book covering the front end... the body is in very decent shape. but that really means nothing . i think you make out ok with it.

I am wondering why the front is covered up :shrug: It looks pertty clean. Buts whats under the cover :transform
