Wondering how well the deal was on the car I got

I got a .15 tmaxx with a max-18cv-r in it the original motor and another .15 I believe. I also got some fuel the remote for the car fuel lines, tools for maintenance, 5 or 6 glow plugs, and another set of shocks all for 200 bucks. I was also wondering how well the engine is for a first car and was thinking of buying http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHLV3&P=ML for a failsafe. I almost had the car go into the lake on the other side of the neighboorhood less then a hour of having it.:whhooo:

dosnt sound like a bad deal and yes fail safes are nice to have! if its not a pond its a wall you will hit something. lol

the os .18's are very nice little mills. the .15 maxx is an older rig, but still has plenty of parts and hoppups available. you should be able to learn very easy on it.

I think I got my first T-maxx for $175...but that was several years ago. Good to learn with as Beason said. Also good to learn to fix 'em too

Yes. The old Maxx trucks are a pretty good one to learn with. Also, those OS .18's are a great engine.
