I am having some mold removed from my home, so I had to move my router. I had always had my wife's computer connected by wire to the router, but am now trying to get a wireless connection. Signal strength is very good and it says connected, but no internet. This computer is connected so I would assume that my router is working fine and its Vista that is causing the problem. (It probably doesn't help that I am clueless when it comes to vista.)

My Laptop is Vista and i do have a wireless router. They both work fine.

What i do is on the bottom on the tool bar on the right side there are two icon one is the Antenna and the other is a Signal strength, if you click on it will say connect to the internet and you may have to pick yours and even type in your password.

I hope this helps you if not PM me with more question

Yeah, been down that road already, no joy. I think I have had the computer connected to the router at one time, its not asking me for a WEP key.

I had not thought of restarting the computer, that is all it took. Thanks!
