Has anyone ever used Windows XP media center edition. ITs on my new computer but the radio part of the Media Center would lock up everytime I tried to use it, and after about 2 hours of trying it and restarting it it just disapeared. Would anyone like to help me out on whats wrong with it and how I could get it back. The comp is a HP and has a 2.8 GHz P4 Processor and 512 MB of RAM iif that matters.
Many Thanks

Anyways. back on topic. The radion connects over the internet right? Do you have some type of firewall, other than the MS one that might have blocked your internet radio? I know some programs will cause your PC to lock up if a firewall is blocking them from connecting.

Try going to the ms site and looking for an upgrade on it.

Buncrana makes a good point. If you have downloaded and installed SP2 for Win XP, go to Control Panel, double click the new icon for the ms firewall and reconfigure it or turn it off.
