Will this motor work in my Tmaxx

What the fiddlesticks is everyones problem here. I have done nothing to get treated like this. I did listen, but just because someone recommends a good motor I should run out and buy it? If you were asking advice on what kind of car to get and someone suggested you buy a lambo or ferrari would you run out and buy it just because they said so. I thanked him for the advice, I am sorry everyone is so butthurt I didn't run out and buy a motor that is more powerful than I need. Why don't you put a jet engine in the car you drive to work? It is way more powerful than the motor you currently have so obviously you shouldn't definitely run out and buy one. The admins can delete my account, apparently if you are not a puppet and do what people say you are not welcome here. Thanks again for the links to the motor, maybe someday when I think my experience level warrants such a motor I will buy one but until then I will run something that is more practical.

Just let it go dude! You don't have to cuss to get your point across.

Dude, cool down. We're not picking on you but are trying to help. I spend some time hanging out in my local hobby shop (lhs) and watch, observe and ask questions. Doing that and asking questions on this forum and listening not just talking have gotten me really far.

We try to help with suggestions. I have a good amount of experience the Picco .26 in a Revo and before that upgrade I asked a lot of questions about upgrades before pulling the trigger on it.

As far as the Axial .30: I have seen them in a T-Maxx. The entire drivetrain had to be upgraded from the slipper to the out-drives. But also as I stated earlier, the performance is either hit or miss out of the box.

I find big blocks last longer and are more worthwhile than a small block motor, if your prepared to put a bit of time and effort into it you can extend the chassis yourself, i did this with my tmaxx. Take the engine and fuel tank off and remove the rear assembly. You can either cut up the chassis from another car which is what I did or you can buy a chassis by itself. Cut the chassis to fit lapped underneath the chassis on the tmaxx (you may need to cut a v in it where the driveshaft goes) adding a couple of inches to the rear to make space for the engine and drill the holes to attach it, don't forget about the the brace underneath aswell. Now drill the holes to attach the rear assembly to it. Before you assemble it the centre driveshaft isn't going to reach properly so you will have to use half of one of the longer driveshafts that go to the wheels instead. Now you can reassemble everything and its ready to go. You will to cut some bits off of the leftover chassis and drill holes in them to make up the space between the extended chassis and the engine mount. Now you have the space to put whatever engine you want on it, with better handling aswell, in a cheap way.
Heres a link to some engines on ebay that are good for the price:

Those SH engines are good, they're the same company that makes the xtm engines, hope this helps you out.
