Can it fit? Yes. Should it be put in an e-revo? Probably not. I'm skeptical only because I just don't know how long the 2400kv will be able to take 6S power. Traxxas runs the 540XL at 4S in the Maxx, and I've seen/read about people running them on 6S. But would I do that? No. The 2400kv is a 36mm motor and the 2200kv is a 42mm motor. That's a lot more coils that help dissipate heat. The 2200kv might also have a stronger magnet amd rotor to withstand the added RPMs. If you're considering the 2400kv because of cost, just realize that two motors will bemore expensive than one motor.
If you're looking for more power I would recommend the 2000kv motor out of a Sledge.
The KV rating isn't the issue, the issue is it's a 540 motor. It's a high tork 1/10th scale motor. You need to stick to 1/8 scale truggy motors. If you like higher KV motors a Castle 1515 is 2200kv and a Hobbywing 4278SD G2 is 2250Kv. Both of these motors will work well in your E-Revo.
