Will hex spacers work to help not to stop the wheel from turning?

Was working on the slash today and installing the 14t pinion. When I turn left or right the front tires rub on the suspension arm and causing the wheel to not move. Will hex extensions/spacers work? Here is one that I found: https://www.amazon.com/HobbyCrawler...as+2wd&qid=1639782697&s=toys-and-games&sr=1-3 These look like you need to screw in when putting on the wheel. I want to put the wheel on by a 7mm nut.
 
reduce endpoint travel. or use a shorter servo arm. those extenders wont fix ur issue.
 
Extenders will put more stress on the arms, caster blocks, and bearing carriers. You might want a higher offset wheel.
