The thing is, cars could be of a wildly different size even if they are of the same scale. I would expect a monster truck to be larger than a buggy.
A VW Polo or Mazda MX5/Miata is 1/10 on an M-chassis while a BMW 2002 requires a touring car chassis to meet the same scale. Put a Euro truck on a 1:10 touring car chassis and it’s suddenly 1:14 scale.
