Will a XL exhaust work on a X4.6?

Looking to change my savage X4.6 exhaust and wondering is the chrome exhaust of the XL is any different and will it fit?

my opinion would be dont change it to another RTR exhaust.. look into a ERCM pipe, Ofna pipe dynamite pipe, they are better pipes which will give performance..

If you have it on hand already, then sure. The pipe will fit, but the XL header will hit the shock(not fit) if you have the 8 shock setup I believe.

I wouldn't use the XL header on either engine, it's too long and won't let the pipe perform properly, use the original X header for better performance. As for the stinger placement, if you go with an ERCM pipe I can make it any way you like.

Plastic one has a cone thing inside and the XL one doesn't.

If you want a better pipe and can't afford the ercm then THS makes one for your savage and right now its only $47 plus shipping from THS web site. I just ordered one for my picco on my tmaxx until i can afford the ercm i want.

Above the add to cart button just select item specifics and pipe only if you dont need the rest of the kit. With 1-3 day postal service my total was like $55 and change.

put the same THS pipe on my 4.6 in my trophy. works great for the price. alot better top end then stock
