Anyone tried Wildcat Eliminator 16% fuel? Did you have any luck or problems with it? My LHS has some for $12 bucks a gallon so I was just wondering since I'm a cheap skate and was thinking of trying it.

Racer 1966 said:It says right on the bottle "Car Race Fuel". It has a 14% oil blend. How can being low on nitro cause damage to an engine? Also, what is the differnece in car fuel and plane fuel besides the oil content? They are all a xx% of Nitro, xx% oil and the rest is methanol. Thanks for the replies.
I'm not quite sure how this is true, the nitro is the most volitile substance in the fuel and the methanol is the cooling substance since it burns so much colder. With more nitro you have less methanol and visa-versa. So if you tune by temperature, how can less nitro be higher temp? Unless you are leaning it out more to get the extra power that you are losing by taking away nitro. If 30% with lower oil is better and more nitro gives you less temperature, why does the engine life shorten?Higher nitro = lower temps
Lower nitro = higher temps
20%with around 12% oil is good
30%with around 8 to 10% is even better.
Now granted with the higher Nitro 30% you will get a little less life out of the mill...
I wish wildcat made a 30% nitro with 10% oil, but they wont
