Why is it coming out of there?

I just rebuildt my motor and now where the head adn the block meet gas and exhuast is comign out of the seam i pput the shim mack in tighteneed the bolts down tight.Is there a gasket or somthing that i lost or left on teh old sleeve?please help.It does run but it jsut shoots gas out of it and it gets all over teh truck and it makes a heck of a mess when idirt gets on it.

Did you tighten in a star pattern, I go around 5 times before I am done, Or did you make sure the small notch in the Piston lines up with the pin on the case, and lastly did you make sure you pushed the sleeve all the way down. I have had these all happen to my engine and I hade the same results as you.

I think that is the worst I seen in a long time.
Good luck with your mill. If you paid as much attention to detail when you rebuilt it you may have real issues.

Welcome to the site, kid. Hope you can find time to get the problem sorted out in between flipping burgers at the local drive-thru, judging on how bad your English skills are.

Once you get the trick of using a keyboard, maybe we can decipher your issue and help you on the tune.

Reading between the lines, sounds like you jacked up the shim or tightened the whole thing wrong.

Well thank you tarent.And to the rest of you I'm not a kid I'm 28 years old and i do suck at typing and i was in a hurry to get that posted so i didnt check over it.I dont flip burgers i actually own 4 apartment buildings so far an i dont work i just sit home and collect rent and fix and replace what is ineeded in the buildings so EAT ME.But thanks for your help to the 1 person that did help.
