I'm shopping for my first car and have received many emails like this one:

Here you can find more pictures of the car: http://s1014.photobucket.com/albums/af267/jeepsahara1998/
(if the above link does not work copy and paste it into a new web browser window).

The car has been well taken care of, always kept in the garage.Flawless exterior/interior condition,no scratches and no dents. It has never been involved in an accident. The engine starts and drives like new and the paint looks great. It comes with US clear title which will be signed and notorized in the buyer's name.Have all keys and manuals.

I'm an US Air Force MSgt. currently stationed in Alaska. The car is here with me.
The price is $3,790 including shipping from Alaska and delivery to your home address.

So if you decide to buy this car or need further information please get back to me as soon as possible.

Thank you

Master Sgt. Daniel Hoxie

With only 46,000 miles, this is about a half of the price that it should be.

What do you guys think?

Welcome to shopping for a car on Craigslist! SO MANY scams on there, if its too good to be true, its too good to be true.

just noticed he claims to be a master sgt in the military. you should report that. they dont take to kindly to someone falsely claiming that.

#4 kinda happened today. I drove like 40mins to go and see another. As soon as we pulled up to it I knew something was wrong with it, and with closer inspection I found even more with it.

1. Crunched quarter panel, about 3/4in of bondo trying to hide it, and the wrong shade of paint was used on it

2. Bent frame rails, the spacing on the hood to the bumper was about an inch off.

3. Bent tailgate, looked sorta like a silver potato chip.

4. Without even going inside the cab, I noticed that it looked like someone threw up all over the carpet.

and he still wanted 10 grand for it. I didn't even bothering to talk to him about it.

been buying cars for 45 years. never, ever, ever, ever, ever buy a car that is out side your county. cause if something goes wrong you can't do any thing about it.
