I have had the M8 for many years and just upgraded to the M11.
Ill have to say, they made some great enhancements to "Old faithful".

Having the visuals of all the settings sure make it a lot easier to get everything working well together. The radio has a lot of options to set and the on screen graphics make child's play out of it and removes a lot of the guess work. I spent a few hours today getting aquainted with it and setting up my RCs.

I was wondering who else has one just in case I run into any issues I need help with. So far I think I have it down just fine but you never know.

Ordered the M11 with the Spektrum Pro. Should have it Monday!!! I'll post the results!

I too now have a brand new M11. I have not cut it on yet. I also ordered the spektrum pro and an extra receiver.

What is the blue cord with the ps-2 on one end and the univerals on the other for?? I see the jack on the back of the M11 for it, but do I test servos with it??

I have a couple of more M11 questions...

What are you using for batteries... rechargeable nimhs, battery pack, alkalines?

The cover that came with the radio, do you run with that on or is it just to protect it when not in use?

Is it ok to remove the stock antenna if using spektrum?? Or do you need to leave it in??

Does anyone use a case with the radio?? I have a sportwerks case that I put my xs3 pro in, but I don't think this one will fit.

I am running the Spektrum Pro. I use nimhs batts. I only keep the cover on for storage. I keep the stock antenna in to keep stuff from going down the hole. I also have an Airtronics case for it.

You don't need the stock antenna running a spectrum.
I keep the cover on once everything is adjusted and ready to go. I don't want my runny nose to drip to fog the screen :D

Right now, I'm using my M8 trinity soft case. Its not a direct fit but it works. I have ordered the Airtronics metal M11 case but its on backorder. I'm using 8 of my AA nMh 2600mAh batteries. I charged them up 3 weeks ago and haven't had to touch them yet. I'm only racing 3-4 hours on Wednesday evenings.

I sure do love this radio. The M8 is a grand unit but the M11 is a lot easier to get dialed in with all the visuals.
