Where ooh where is Error401 when you need him. Does anyone know how to do this? My guess is I could look for a FAQ or something but I bet it requires software I don't have. Anyone?

get a gif maker.
barbarosa i used to use.
get frames from the movie as many as you want and put them in order in the gif maker. easy as pie

HB, do you have Photoshop? There's a secondary program within Photoshop that will allow you to animate a .gif. That's where I worked on my Avatar.
If you have it, let me know, and I'll help you out.

Drop me a line if this is still an issue for you. All I would need would be the movie file preferably in AVI or MPEG format. Can work with WMV but it requires extra steps for me. MOV would be optimal.

Let me know.

Yes. Adobe Image Ready is the secondary program within Photoshop. After you have created or changed the frames in Photoshop, you hit 'File' then 'Jump to' and it takes you to Image Ready where you set the sequence and timing, then 'Save as Optimized'. That saves it as the animated .gif file.

If you have Photoshop Elements, you can just line the layers up in order and find "Save for web" and then just clickk "Animated" and then select the timing. It's how I've done alot of my animateds
