The stuff I used comes out as a dark grey color and drys solid, I guess that is Molly Lube. Sorry, my bad.

Its cool man.I have used them all..
Molly lube is great for water proofing your bearings though..Spray it over them..POW water proof

Never thought of using it for bearings, I'll have to try that. Thanks for the tip.

Since we're on the subject about the tranny, I've now completed my tranny complete with graphite powder dust, FOC kit, high temp gasket on the edges and a little lube on the bearings. I've even done the same to the bevel gears after the spur gear. The tranny is pretty much sealed minus one area... the 2nd gear adjustment hole, granted there's a plug that's supposed to fill that spot unless pulled out but mine doesn't need to be pulled out. I can push this thing in till I turn blue in the face and no more then maybe instantly or 5 seconds later the thing just pops out on its own.

What's a good plug to use in replacement of the factory?

Awesome! So, if i let them soak in Molly Lube, i will be able to clean my cars with water without any rust or damage? That would be really good after a day at the track.

WoddiE,
Put the rest of whats left over in your night stand and whip it out when your woman comes over. I promise you it wont turn black like it did on your finger.... :D

LOL you don't soak them..You spray it on them.
And Yes You could spray them down with water..
(BUT) you still need to take them out and clean and reoil them after. And yes It will prevent rusting.
