which truggy would you choose between the jammin crt , kyosho st-rr, mbx 5 t, or losi 8t, and please tell why.:bow:also state what you run and what you got in it. thanks guys.

get the losi 8ight T i run one now and couldnt be happier. best thing to buy is a strong steering servo. jr 9100t is a good one.

I'm running an st-rr right now I just want to see what everybody else is running and what and why they like their car.:):)

X1 CRT pro with an RB Concepts TM928. I run Hitec HS 5955TG steering servo, which is probably overkill but it was what I had on hand.
The reason I like it is because its very strong and really forgiving when you make a mistake. It almost drives itself.

I ran the Jammin crt & cr for a couple of seasons(& did very well with them!) Until I drove a Losi, Sold both Jammin's & bought the Losi's & did not look back. They just suit my driving style better! I'm running the Modded Sirio EVO 3 with a JP-2 pipe Can you say...... SCREAM!!!!

I am with Brushless on the Jammin CRT. I had two.. LRP Spec 3 .28 with a JP-4 pipe and it was absolutely crazy fast and bulletproof tough. At the local track the only guy that can keep up is a Inferno buggy with a Novarosi. I just love the way it drives....but it suites MY driving style. They are all good rides. Best thing to do is try to get a test drive on a few and see what you like.

I run the Jammin CRT Pro with an OS .30 and Hitec Digital Servos.... I don't recall the model numbers off the top of my head. I think it is a great all around racer. The new CRT 2 is out now as well... supposed to be a great truck.

Your going to get 50 different opinions here. It's like Ford vs. Chevy. Everyone's going to have their favorite. My advice is to read up in this forum on the subject. There are some great threads here for all the different Truggies out there. Also you may want to look at getting a truck that your LHS stocks parts for, so you are not waiting on parts to come in the mail.

All the trucks you listed are great trucks, and each one has it's good and bad points. It is ultimately up to you to decide what truck will best fit your needs, style, and budget.

Happy shopping and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

yeah I started out racing with the crt and the cr now I've gone kyosho, I'm running an ST-RR with a modded c6 futaba bls 351 and 451 servos , boca bearings and king headz everywhere, I'm also using lpr's and my radio system is the 3pk with the fassst system, it cost alot but it drives and handles like I didnt know a truck could . thanks guys for sharing , did you hear about the x2 and kyosho mp9 coming out ? their sick.:first_place:

I used to race a Thunder Tiger ST-1 pro and it's tough as nails. I currently race a Losi 8T and it handles better than my ST-1 pro. Since then, I've also changed from my RC8 buggy to a Losi 8 pro kit as well. The Losi's are strong, handle well and are race ready out of the box!
