Which style blade balancer is better?

Is one of these style of blade balancer better than the other and if so why?

I use one similar to this but without the stand. Just balance the axle on two drinking glasses or the edges of a vise, etc.

I dont understand how you balance a pair of heli blades on that one.

Out of the two I shown above do people usually have a preference?

You do it like this, no need for a fancy contraption.

I have this one:

It's one complete unit, no loose parts. The other one can be compromised by getting dirt or grit on the OUTSIDE of the rollers or even the shaft.
This one uses sealed bearings and I find it to be deadly accurate.
