Hi all,

Sorry if it's a stupid question, I have a CEN Fun Factor ST and currently my steering servo has broken, the little gears inside just snapped, they are plastic as well:)

So, my question is, are my servos analog? Because I want to order new servo with metal parts inside but not sure which to order digital or analog...
I had a read on someone else's thread that I can't use digital and analog at the same time, therefore don't want to spend money if I can't use something.

Thanks in advance.

Wat radio gear are you using because my spektrum will run both . How old is your rig ?

To be honest I have no idea how old it is because I bought it second hand.
The radio gear, as it says on equipment is Sanwa AM receiver SRC-2322RS..whatever that means....27mhz.
Controller is also Sanwa..servos are same:) servo - SRM-102 Sanwa.

Hope this helps, thanks:)

You could run a non-digital servo without any problems. I would suggest a favorite of mine, the HiTec HS-645 MG. It's a high torque metal gear servo that isn't terribly expensive and works great in 10th scale rigs.

Use the analog one unless you have a newer radio that you can adjust the end point of travel. If you don't have that feature (usually found on newer FM/2.4 radios), don't use the digital as they tend to burn out.

I don't know anything about either of those brands and would personally stay away from them. That's why I recommended the HiTec.

Radios are not a super expensive item anymore i would consider upgrading to a whole new system AM tends to get interferance.Go FM or 2.4ghz imo that would be a better choice.:D

Thanks for the advice guys.
I will have to go with un-branded metal geared servo for now, until I can afford a good branded items.

With the radio gear, which brands or setups are better to look out for? Minding the low budget:(

You can get a futaba Fm 2ch for under 100 new. Stay away from used raidios usally your buying trouble.Good luck bud:D

Ansman do a 3 channel 2.4 radio for 40quid new i have one on my Gv and never had any problems with it . Or stretch the boat out abit and get a spektrum you wont regret it .
