as the title says

which savage is the best! overall as I'm getting a savage for christmas.( yes i know it far far way yet)

I've heard nothing but good news about the savage 25 on the other hand i was going to consider getting the X but people are saying spurs strip easy and the diffs are a problem aswell.

so what do u guys think i should get?

note: I'm just basher not a racer...

I'm leaning towards the 25 at the moment

so please point me in the right way

( my budget is about 600 - 750$)

i would go with the savage 25.........i have the 25 & had an x model........i opinion is that the savage 25 is the best one.........tougher & handles easier than the savage x..........the only thing i like about the x is that the radio box is more accesable than the 25........i sold the savage x.........if your gona be drivin rough & jumping or just plain bashing, spend an extra 100$ and get yourself a rc solutions rollcage for it.......1 realy hard landing upsidedown and that rollcage pays for itself by saving your engine from getting damaged......the savage 25 is about 350$-400$ new with the 3 speed transmission........

Go for the X. The savage X is basically a new and improved Savage 25. I had no problem with the spur or the diffs (which are the same as the ones in the 25) The X has lower center of gravity TVPs, which means it handles better than the 25. The engine in the X is basically a ported S-25, which means it is very similar but is a bit more powerful and has smoother power delievery I think.

I've had both the Savage SS and the Savage X, and by far the X is the way to go. All the things that people had trouble with on the Savage 25 have been fixed. The spur gear on the X is almost identical to the one on the 25. If you can't get good mesh it will strip, same as the 25.

To me, it would make no sense to buy a Savage 25 right now.

yup thats what i will do either 25 or 25 3 speed liminted edition(hope i spelt that right)

No, you didn't and you have another post asking between a Savage and a Revo so, my suggestion is, get something, anything so you quit posting this garbage!

Maybe try this site for some help: www.rcuniverse.com. I'll bet someone there will gladly lend a hand.
