I just wanted to know(based on everyones opinions) which truck would actually be the best to buy:

Kyosho Mad Force, HPI Savage, Traxxas T-Maxx, AE Monster GT, Ofna Twin Titan, or the Schuamacer monster truck?

For those of you that don't know, the Schuamacer is supposedly the world's fastest monster truck at 70 MPH.
3-speed tranny, 2.1 Hp .21 engine. The only problem is its speed. From what i've heard the schuamacer flips itself with the slightest turn over 60MPH.

Thanks for your comments.

Do u want it for racing or bashing? Racing I would go with XTM Mammoth it goes 52mph out the box. Bashing: T-maxx or Savage.

i agree with wasssup, I've got a savage 25 and ran a couple of my buddies t-maxx's and the savage is definatly the toughest outa the box !

I have never ran the Savage personally so I can only recommend the two I do own and drive. The TMAXX 2.5 or the Monster GT. Here is the bottom line..everyone is going to tell you that the savage rocks and is durable or the Tmaxx is or the Monster GT or this truck ar that one but when it comes down to it You are going to BREAK something sooner or later. So what it really comes down to is what do you want to end up with? The TMAXX and the Savage have an EZ start or a Roto start. Both reduce the sore arm feeling from a pull starter. The TMaxx 2.5 seemd to be a Great truck for a Novice. No opinion on the Savage since I have never owned one but I would love to cuz I want to own that truck as well!!! Maybe you should check your LHS to see what truck they have a lot of factory and aftermarket support to help you with repairs and upgrades. IT is all in the eye of the beholder!

Thanks very much for your comments. I think the next truck will be a savage 25.

good pick u wil be very happy
only problem you should have is tuning and eventually the steering servo if you do hard bashing

Savagesquirrel...not to bust on you or anything, but those two problems are common to most monster trucks, including the T-Maxx...and the Savage...and from what I hear the MGT, Mammoth, Dominator, and a few more...

Nothing personal and no dis but apprently you "don't know". Please don't spread generalized and false hearsay about a truck or car that you don't have any personal exeprience with. ALL your doing is a dis-serivce to others. I just drove the Shuemacher Menace .21 4x4 last weekend for like five hours. The truck is nothing short of awesome. The Menace isn't a monster truck as the supension height and stock tire size is setup more like a stadium truck but it's far from a stadium truck. Yes it's 4x4 and it has killer LSD's (limited slip diffs) front and rear.

Higher center of gravity and weight (especially poor weight distribution) is what increase the chance of any real truck or RC car of rolling....especially @ high speeds. I don't know who told you this but they either A. Can't Drive or B. Didn't actually drive the truck. The overall handling of and stability of the Menace is excellent. Schumacher builds cars and trucks to handle and go fast as their biggest prioriites. I'm sure it's rugged to an extent but it's not fair to compare the Schumacher Menace to a Maxx or Savage as their two different animals. I'm gonna buy one next month....The fastest Maxx or Savage wouldn't stand a chacne in terms of speed as the Schumacher weighs almost half as much.

FYI....That Schumacher with bigger tires would probably kill many a Maxx and Savage @ rockcrawlin and hill climbing. The diffs perform awesome and the power is geared to stay on the ground.

Here's the review I posted here in the thread below...https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11121

Peace

i know but he may not know that so its always good to help right that what this sight does mostly for a lot of people

True enough...keep the info flowing. Just be careful of how you phrase it. Your way made it seem that this was something that only one truck might have a problem with.

I wish people would stop compairing the menace to trucks like the tmaxx, savage and so on. Anyone in their right mind can look at a menace in just a picture and see that it obviously isnt a monster truck, its a stadium truck with a big ass engine. If you decide to continue to compare these monster trucks to the menace, please throw in the MT2, ae and losi trucks. as you can tell there is no compairison. its like compairing a ford lightening to big foot......think about it

Well I'm quite new in the MT world and just bought the savage a month ago, but I can tell you that is much better for racing than the Mad Force, driving a Mad Force is like driving a crazy cow, the Savage is much stable and easy driving
