Had an axial S1 and would never buy another axial anything due to my experiance with that one.

The LRP will have far more power than the mach, but at the cost of fuel consumption. The mach will run much longer on a tank than the LRP. With the torque the LRP has, I'd be inclined to run something a bit more tame like the Mach in a buggy. I run one in my aftershock and one in my savage... my only real problems with the engine is getting gearing into the trucks that tame it down a bit. Both trucks just flip and land on their roof if I don't feather the throttle off the line.

Maybe take a look at ebay and find a teal headed mach. A bit more power than the gold head with a bit higher RPM's. Better suited for a buggy I'd think.

Get the LRP. I've heard it was a beast engine. I was about to have one in my Savage, but I received a non-pull start version.

BTW: The Ravager is a buggy right? I still have the LRP engine right now. It's new, but opened. If you have a bump start, this will be perfect for you. The only thing you'll need is a new crankcase. Please PM me if you want more details.

I have a Axial in my PROTOS and i think its a great engine
i know nothing about the other 2 but yea just my :2cents:

i need more info and also from what i see in pictures I'm going to need to purchase somthing else I'm not sure what its called but can i use the one off Force .28 engine?

well this force engine met a force greater than it could handle LOL

i think i found out what i need to get with a new engine is a clutch assmbly?

I'm not sure if thats rigght tho

I'm just loo9king for a noncrappy semi-newb friendly engine. i dont want to get a an engine that never needs to be tuned, you wont ever learn that way
i intend on staying in this hobby as long as time permits

once i got that smell of nitro exhaust in my body i was hooked!!Q!!!!@!1111!!1!!! LOL

so thats why i want something i can use a bashing ton o fun car and something that will help me learn
I've learned alot from my Ravager and from you guys especially Rolex that guy knows TONS

Of the ones you list I'd recommend the OS followed by the LRP. OS engines are beasts and very easy to tune and hold the tune. LRP's tend to be a little more beastly (with *slightly* less run time) but can sometimes be finicky.

This is the info I got from an LRP-sponsored racer :)

I don't know, but i am partial to the mach 427. If you find the teal head, get that, it has a little more power up top. The mach in my savage was a beast, kept flipping the truck on it's lid every chance you got to open the throttle more than 1/2 way. It's insane down low. If you are running a smaller track, go for the torque, if you are running a more open track with lots of straights, go for the hp up top.

The LRP is the best of your list. It will outrun and outlast all the others.

I say either go with the 427 or the O.S. .30........I have the 427 in my LST2 and I love it & Durwank has the O.S. .30 in his LST and loves it !:D I actually have a brand new 427 in the box if your interested.;)

I have two of the LRPs and I love them. To date they are the stongest engine I have ever ran. I had a Picco once that was supposed to run as strong or stronger but it never ran....ever....more than 30 seconds at a time. Sigh. But I just got lucky to get the dud in the batch. So I say LRP!

The mach 427 doesn't come with a teal head, it only has an orange(pull-start)or silver(spin-start) cooling head.;):D

I think the silver one is the "teal" one, but I'm not 100%. I believe it is the one that has a larger carb intake and quite a few others parts that are a bit different to make it perform a bit stronger than the standard (gold/orange head) Dynamite Mach 427.

not to be an A-hole but the so called silver head looks really like teal to me. a metalic teal but still a teal color

well to me that silver head looks alfully like teal. sorry for spamming, but i can see why someone called it teal

NOPE, they are actually the same except for the fact that the 'SILVER' one has a roto-start and the 'ORANGE' one has a pull-start.:D

I think your thinking of this one, which is the head that I have on my 427 but is off of the .26.:D......now that's 'TEAL'.;)
