Just got an LST2 and was wondering what is the best brand of nitro to use with this truck? Is it bad to use different brands of nitro.

Also, what are some must have hopups to increase durability?

And also, has anyone used the High-speed tini conversion set?

There are a ton of oppinions on what fuel is best and I'm pretty new to nitro but I've had great luck in my LST2 with o'donnels 20% easy to tune good temps and great power.

Rpm a arms are a great upgrade, better steering servos are nice but a luxury other then that not too much needs attention these are great out of the box.

I plan on doing the Forward only conversion and the gear swap but I'm going to save my cash for other parts rather then the tini gears.

You're going to love that truck!!

What's the point of the forward only conversion? Does it improve speed? By how much?

The forward only conversion does two things, first it makes the truck legal for racing, (not allowed to have reverse for some classes, don't know the details as i don't race) Second it reduces rotating mass in the drive train it eliminates both reverse and the high low gear ranges.

It can give you a small speed boost if you mod the tranny case and reverse the two gears IE the tini spur goes on the input shaft and turns the steel gear, not sure what the gain is but its worth it if you're going all out.

Another option to p/u some speed without spending a bunch of money is the +1 clutch bell

if you want to get into racing i would prefer nitrotane or odonells.
these two fuels are also very effective for sport use since they are made for max performance.

odonells comes first then nitrotane then byrons.

hope i could help!!!
