can someone please write a list of motors will fit straight into the mgt without any mods and allowing me to still use my stock pipe, clutch etc.
obviously i am only interested in engines that are more powerful than my .21
i was looking at the mach .26 but just how many suitable others are there.
thanks.
jas.

If I'm not mistaken these engines are all a direct replacement...

Fantom .27
MACH .26
OS .21
Picco .26
Picco .28
SH .28
STS .28
WASP 26

ok another question for ya,which is best mach .26 or wasp .26 or sts .28 or sh .28:ponder2:

has anyone bought one of the engines off of ebay that come from hong kong because you can get a brand new sh .28 or sts .28 for under £80,is this a bargain or are they dodgy engines.
i have been looking at a couple of mach's and wasps's but when the sts's and sh's are that cheap new it would seem stupid not to get a new one of them unless of course that they are not the bargain that they seem.

IMO, I own a wasp.28. If it's anything like the Wasp.26 wich they don't make anymore, then i wouldn't buy it,there a pita to tune. You can get a sts.28 for around $120 i think it was. I think any .21 size engine will fit in the truck. It just need's to be pullstart, drillstart or roto start, can't be bumpstart.

In my opinion the sh .28 is the best bang for buck. Its easy to tune and has stupid power. My dad runs this engine in his truck and has had no problems with it. I ran the engine in a truggy and loved it!

sh .28 now fitted and runs a treat, well it does now that i have a drillstart backplate for it after 2 snapped pullstarts:yell:
loads of power but am thinking that i could now do with a different pipe to unleash its full potential, any ideas on header, pipe combos that will fit straight on.
is the tt .28 pipe the same as the .21 pipe or would this be a nice cheap upgrade.
