My buddy bought a xtm mammoth..the bad thing most hobby shops do not carry xtm parts in the area.

What are the best online places to order parts for this truck?

I know about hobby people..are there any others????

I am still selling aftermarket chassis, a- arms and chock towers. Let me know they are in the FS forum.

PM me for more details. I am not on the PC at nite till my DSL line is up so I can PM you my CELL if you want

Jon

I have the same issue. But the only place that I could find is Hobby People and Jon2 has some very nice upgrade parts.

...I talked to him over the phone and he said he stripped out the biggest gear in the center gear box. I think he said it has about 50 teeth?..which gear would that be? 1st..2nd?? Can he get steel gears for the center..or would that just cause more problems elsewhere?

Thanks Jon..i will pass that along to him about the parts for sell.

Upgrade to the steel gears. The first gear is 61 Teeth & second is 66 Teeth. As for the center gear which is 60 teeth, I haven't seen a steel one around.

thanks Team..
so theres steel gears available for the 1st (61) and 2nd (66)...but not for the center gear (60)... so Its a 3 speed? I havent seen it without the body so not sure what the gearbox looks like.

No wonder he can kill my savage in the long run. i usually get him on the start.

No it's not a 3 speed. It's a 2 speed. And it can beat the Savage & Maxx in a long run.

Go to Hobbypeople .net and u can see the gears in the Hop-ups section.

you betcha!!..thanks ..I'm sure he will have more ?'s coming as he is brand new to the hobby. He doesn't have an ISP right now so i have to do the talking for him. As soon as he gets one i will ask him to join the board. He loves that freakin truck!!!
