Anyone know where I can find one of these fuel canisters? I have searched all over & can't find one anywhere. I have mad air bubbles in my fuel line & thought that this might help out. I don't want to do the twin tank mod, so I am looking for alternatives.

I will probably go to the autoparts store today to see if I can just use a fuel filter for a motorcycle or a lawnmower. I will let you know what I find out, but in the meantime, does anyone know where to find the fuel canister (as pictured below)?

Thanks....

are you talking about the Blue Fuel Filter?

I don't know if it is a fuel filter, the magazine article simply calls it a fuel canister. But if you have a link to where I can find a large fuel filter (like the one pictured - does not have to be blue), I would appreciate it.

That cannister you're talking about is on the pressure line. What does it do, regulate the pressure? That's what I can tell from the small print in the picture. It says it's there so ou can run a shorter length of line fore the pressure line.

i dont know if they will work of not. couldnt find anything as "fuel canister". the links are mostly to larger fuel filters, the top one is a link to a fuel filter and a primer in one which i thought was intresting.

I think what we're looking at is an inline boost bottle. It's in the pressure line, not the fuel line. It's the same as putting a can inline with an airbrush on a small cheap compressor. Instead of high speed little puffs, you get a smooth flow of air.
There's also the theory of using an 18" line from the muffler to the tank, and you get the same effect. There's enough room to smooth out the airflow which in turn smooths out the fuel delivery to the carb. I did this when I upgraded from the .15 to the 2.5, but since I didn't do it on an engine I was already familiar with, I couldn't tell you how much difference it makes.

EP setup looks pretty good. I am going to give it a try on the Savage. Although, I can't afford to get 2 of the Kyosho Canisters. I am going to try 3 Golden Horizons fuel filters.

I plan to place 2 on the fuel line & 1 on the pressure line. I will also try the large diameter fuel lines too. Thanks for the ideas.
