Where to buy? Where to find info?

These are 2 questions of mine.

- What are recommended sites to buy parts from? I'm a computer guy, so I know where to get components at good prices. I know there have to be a couple in the R/C world.

- Where can I go to read up on R/C touring car information? I know most of you are going to say "you're already here!". That's fine. But I want to read up on the basics of the engine, parts, settings, etc. Then be able to come in here and ask the right questions, instead of leading a rat race to get the answers I'm trying to find. There are so many things in the posts that I'm reading that I don't understand. I'm sure it's basic knowlegde to know what an OS .18 engine is. Well I don't.

Online sources for parts are many. olds hit the majors. There is also our wonderful sponsor www.RushRC.com who will help you trying to find anything you need. I have also used www.hobbyguyrc.com with good luck in the past.

Ebay is your best bet for great buys if you can find them. Buyer beware when dealing with eBay obviously.
