Could just be OCD too?

I collect tools for some reason. I'm like oooh that's cool and I buy it, use it once then it sits there.

OK it's not quite that bad, but I know where it comes from. I grew up with limited tools and made due by marring surfaces, breaking bolts and a lot of cussing. Practically removed my eye with a screw driver using it as a bike tire lever.

Then I had friends that were auto tech and they had good tools, Snap On, Mac, Matco. They are high quality tools and fit precisely, but more importantly they had the special wrench, that fit behind the radiator or something. It was such a delight to use the right tool, so now I just buy stuff.

.... Not usually the professional tools, but not necessarily the eBay specials either.
