ok i bought the superkit racerx shocks and one of my shocks came off my savage when i was jumping, everything looks ok except i tore my dust boot, here is a picture of the shocks, the part iam talking about is the rubber black bootie that is right underneath the spring, it keeps the rod from getting dusty, i can't seem to find that part so i need help on what to do??

As the RacerX shocks are buggy shocks, you can run into any hobby shop with the shock in hand and they should be able to provide you with the part you need to replace.

Otherwise, try a search for the part on TowerHobbies or another online store.

Here's a set for an MBX-4 Buggy shock that should do the truck.

LOL...you can set up the suspension of the Savage to take 1/8 scale buggy shocks or T-Maxx shocks. The SuperMaxx shocks you speak of are just a modified buggy shock and nothing more.

I run Mugen MBX-5 shocks on my Savage, and they handle everything and more.

That is an even better deal and a wise choice. Nice find and nice suggestion 30%NitroBoy.

No dis taken...just providing information for reference. They are not long enough with a stock set up, but upgraded parts or adjustments can be made to allow for the shorter shocks.

The stock upper arms do not take a shock. You need an aftermarket part for that. The New Era upper arms or some other brand designed to take the shock would be needed.
