solid or non pull start backplate for a XTM 457 " using a bumpbox" trying to shed some weight.

I don't believe they sell one for it. YOu can take your pull start appart and take out the one way bearing and the starter shaft and just use the housing from your pullstart. Just make sure you seal it up really well with rtv sealant. I did that with a 24.7 back in the day.
 
Any Dynamite, SH engines, XTM BB engine non pullstart backplate will fit. You will have to cut off the little pin on the crank for the OWB asssembly. Just tape over the rod journal on the crank shaft and cut slowly with a dremel. Quench it often to prevent heat build up.
