the person i bought it from said he did the maintenance a couple months ago, i went through 2 tanks so far, when is the maintenance to be done!

when the diffs are worn out. no use in replacing them if they don't need it
I normally don't look at mine until I notice a decent amount of wobble on the input/output shafts or if I notice the diffs are "diffing out" easily. I run 50K in my diffs, so they should have a fairly strong positraction feel to them (one tire off the ground and the one on the ground still gets quite a bit of power).
