Bill, that is one terrific layout, sir! I'd love to do something like that, but alas, with two young ones around, any free space in my basement is sucked up with toys, games, hockey gear and whatever my wife is too lazy to put away!

Have a good time with it!

Thanks, I remember when my 4 boys were little. Cool thing though was I was able to semi get into a lot of their stuff. Well, I sort of bought them things I liked......Trying to remember who made those cool battery powered 4x4 trucks(they were about 3-4" long) that had the pull sled and all those cool things. My buds and I had mud bog pits and all kinds of stuff for them.

Stompers 4x4s!!! That's what they were called!!!!

I just won this on Ebay Saturday night. It's from "Fly" the "Class" of the slot car manufacturers. Their "normal" cars run $70-$80 this is a Rare Special Edition New in Box Chrome BMW M3, got the last minute bid in for 55 bucks including shipping! OH, Zandor, your name made it onto my website, NO! I ain't changing no stinkin' names cause you ain't innocent! You can join my son "Little Pee Pee" who kept calling me from the bar wanting to know if the pic of his Ferrari was online yet! Hell they didn't even have a computer there!!!

Really cool Bill,I just got the Corvette and Aston Martin from the American LaMans in at work.I have been  over them. Have a good time. btw the F1's are sweeeeet

I've got a couple new pages. Got the track elevated. I think it looks pretty good. It'll look really cool when I get the retaining wall pieces all cut and into place. Here's a teaser pic and a link to the 1st of 2 of the new pages.
BTW, Thanks for being a great group of RC guys that really don't mind me posting about these here. I got no response at all in several other forums. When Spring comes and I start putting my money back into RC stuff, thats exactly what they can do, stuff it! They won't need to know how the new trucks run or need any of my help.

That is looking really nice! There's only one thing I'd be concerned with, and that's the sharp edge at the front of the table.

All ya need now is a place to display and store the cars/controllers.

When I get through leaning over the edge changing things and doing all the landscaping, I'm going to put an 8"-10" high rubber "mop board" around it. It will protect any cars that may fly over the Safety Walls from reaching the floor. The cars will have shelves when the area where I do all my work on the right end of the layout is free. There would be a lot more room if I didn't have all that RC stuff too! LOL

That's slick as hell Bill!

Not sure of a couple of those race cars but I'm gonna take a couple guesses.. LMK ok

Blue/Orange #1: Carrera GT race car?
White/Blue/Orange #11: NSX race car?
I see that Clarion #21 says Nissan but dang it if that nose doesn't look like a Cadillac.

You know what would be really sweet at that end? if you could drop the elevation of the hairpins and create a dramatic climb as you approach 1st of the 2 90degree turns. I don't know how maneuverable the track is though.. Just my opinion... Nice job!

I went back and named the cars. Didn't do the open wheeled guys though. They'll take some "lookin up" plus I have a ton more of those bad boys to do. Hell, I've got a ton more of the others to do too! LOL.

Blue/Orange #1 is a Maserati
White/Blue/Orange #11 is a Saleen S7R
Clarion #21 is a NISMO Z
The Black Motorola Car is a Cadillac LMP

The Honda Acura NSX has a scoop that comes up out of the back.

I'm glad the boxes say what they are. I buy them because they're pretty!....LOL, well, ok usually because I think they'll handle

good pics Bill! I never realized before how that one turn dropped off so much... that's pretty sweet. Should be a very interesting section to race.

That is starting to really look slick! Man, 8 cars going at once - Now that makes me want to do a setup like that... If only I had the room for it!
