You should get a video of those bad boys running if possible - if only I had a bigger apartment! :D

You're going to really be in trouble when you do see the video i get tomorrow and you see how they go. They put any Mamba to shame!!! LOL. OH, since I have 2 terminal tracks I took them apart and unsoldered one lane on each so I could put a controller on each end of the track(makes it easier to fix the cars when they come off) and a power pack on each lane.

Bill do you have a online store to get the track?
And Is there bad track good track And better track. And one more time...Is there the best track?
Who and were can a person get this digi set up?
What makes a fast car?
Sorry for all the Q's but I really want to give this a try..
But don't want to start out having to up grade..
I would rather start out buying the best I can get.
Like buying peices of track..Slowley.ECT......

I get my stuff from my RC guys store. I'm a firm believer that I have to help keep him in business after all the help he's given me. I see all these guys online talking about their LHSs going out of business because they can't compete with the Big Online places. I use Ninco track. I got it for several reasons, the main one being when they come out with their version of the Digital racing later this month EVERY brand car will be very easily adaptable to use with their track. The other companies hurried to get their Digital track out and they can only run their cars on them NOT ONLY their cars but ONLY their DIGITAL cars, not their old analog cars, like the Ninco track.

Do yourself a favor bro. Join this forum

then read this guys review of Ninco's N-digital system

Prepare to get as excited as i did!!!

I'll post some links for online track and a few for cars after I get home this afternoon.

Here are pics of the 3 cars I bought yesterday. YES! I got 3 more...and I got some video of some of the cars running down the straight this morning too. I'm going to have to set the camcorder up on the tripod at the far end so I can shoot full laps.

Now I have to get one, my favorites BMW's and Jager!

I was going to say the samething - that Jager car is sweet looking!

The dealer I bring my car to for service has one in 1/24th scale. I want to buy it but I've curtailed my diecast buying and stick to stuff I can drive

It's a couple quick laps. I do better after I warm up some and with somebody on the other lane. I usually do the inner lane but since the camcorder is at the end thats set up for the outer lane controller here I am.
Best to Right click and "Save As" maybe?

When you watch this, remember when I get the N-Digital stuff I'm expanding it 4' x 10' towards the camcorder and 4' x 8' in a "L" on the far right. My RC table is moving to the other side of the cellar.

Here's something else that's cool for when you're alone or if you want to run timed races with your friends. take off 2 pieces of track and put these on and it turns your track into one big single lane loop. Look at the side of the box and you'll get the idea.

Here's where you can get Ninco track direct

These guys have a good selection of cars including the Monogram Brand BMW you like.

I'm elevating the back straight 4&3/4". I'm going to velcro wall pieces to wood the length of it. Kind of like some of the elevated roads in Europe. I ordered enough cut stone wing wall pieces to do 8' of it to start. They come in 3"x5&1/4"(that will leave the top part of the wall above the height of the track). That'll be 33 pieces I'll have to sand the edges smooth so they butt together nice and then I'll have to give them a "wash" to bring out the detail. The end pieces will be cut at different heights like the ones in the picture where the track goes up at an angle.

That looks like it's going to be a beauty. Any plans on adding in a model railroad layout, or just the slots?

Just the slots. There isn't enough room for my HO scale model trains in this cellar. They'll just stay in the closet in their couple hundred or so "original" boxes until I'm gone and my grandsons can have them, and all the Walthers buildings and all the track........the operating carnival rides and consession stands and people. so much stuff. I never do my hobbies 1/2 a$$

I'll be up in the middle of the night doing stuff to get this ready :). Down on the far end is where the straight will come down through the turn. The inner part of the turn will be a gradual downsloping grass covered hill. The outside of the turn will be 1" high aluminum coil stock(where the guardrail is now) running around the outside forming a solid retaining wall and screwed to a piece of board cut to fit under the turn. The hill that comes down on the inside of the track will rise up as a mountainside from behind the retaining wall and go up the foundation of the house about 8-12". The mountainside will have various rock formations protruding from it. I have 4 or 5 rock molds left from my RR days and they have more new ones now. In fact I think that whole wall on the outside of the straight will be about 8-12" high mountainside. It's so easy now. "Plastercloth" It's like a cast. Wet it and put it over crumpled up newspaper covered with plastic wrap, let it dry and take it off. Bingo, lightweight plaster mountains!!!!! Airbrush on some color. Glue on some rocks you cast yourself. Bursh or spray some white glue. Sprinkle on some different color "Woodland Scenics" turf......Mountainside!!! Guess I'll have to take pics and do some pages on my website.......

Where the short straight is on the right at the far end is where the track will turn off to the right onto another 4x8 sheet of plywood and come back onto the main when the Digital comes out later this month.
I'll also be extending the elevated straight towards the foreground too, because there'll be another 4x10' of plywood there too soon.

The new Roundel (BMW Car Club of America magazine) and the Jager Bimmer is in there! Coincidental eh? It's like a sign drawing me out to spend more money!

Cool stuff Bill!
