Just wondering if anyone out there had an info on these bulkheads? Sounds like they should be out soon! they look alot stronger then the first ones they had out (which i destroyed). Please tell me what you know. Thanks:banana:

Their site has had them listed as "Coming Soon" for at least the past 3 months. I'd like them too, but I'm getting sick of waiting.

A friend of mine bought the set from great assembly. They are made out of 7075 aluminum. Really nice product.

Kind of expensive, but it is worth it. Actually, they are having a sale right now. $80 gets you a set of front and a set of rear bulks along with their really nice bulkhead braces. That's $40 a set for 7075 bulks. To bad I don't have $80 laying around...

they do look a lot more beefier compared to the original ones. looks like they left the material on the bulkhead that they usually shave off to save weight. IMHO. I would get them but my t-maxx already has a full set of aluminum bulkheads. the only problem i have had with the integy original bulkheads is that the spot where the turnbuckle goes into the bulkhead stripped out after a good crash. i fixed that with a longer machined screw and a locknut.

I thought integy.com was a given. I have been watching their site now for over a month waiting for them and they said the end of march, so hopfully they will but out soon. The first set of integys i had i broke both of the front biulkheads in half because of that pat that they cut out to save wieght where the bumper mounts mount up. these new one look alot stronger and i think i might wait. That "Great Ass" set looks like about the same design as the integys, might go for those if integy takes too much longer.

The design is pretty close, but integy makes their stuff out of the 6061 (i think that's what it's called) aluminum which is relatively soft. If your bashing enough to break the old design, I would suggest trying the GA ones that are made out of the 7075 aluminum. It's much harder and can take more of a beating. I only say this because you will probably be wasting your $ on the new design of integy's since it is the same soft aluminum.

The Ga's do sound really good, sounds like $55 for the 7075 eh? The only thing is i have all blue aluminium integy stuff on my truck right now (a-arms, shock towers, body braces, rear bulkheads, diff cases.) they just wouldnt match, but maybe it would be worth it to get the 7075 t-6 aluminium :horsecrap

I have the GA 7075's on my truck they are GREAT.

the price above is wrong. 40$ a bulk set it for the 6061 NOT the 7075. 7075's are 115$ a set for front and rear. That puts you at about 57.50$ + shipping for front and rear.

so far everyone that has seen my bulks have saif they are BEFFY!

Here's the right link for the 7075 bulks with front & rear braces (braces are 6061) for $115. Shipping's free too. I don't plan to go back to 6061s ever again. Unfortunately plans can change. I've beat the 7075s pretty good, and the threads are just fine.

Note: I'd been waiting since October for the Integy Super-Duty bulks, then finally gave up a month ago when I heard about these GAs

These great assembly bulkheads are sounding better and better, Had anyone had any troubble with them? I would deffinently go for the 7075's .

iam running ga's 7075 bulks they are the best out there hands down.you can't get any better.you can look but you won't find any better.ia'm a hard core basher.trust me you can't go wrong with ga's 7075 bulks

Well I took out my "virgin" T-Maxx for some Ice Racing (made studs the night before) and wiped out the front end. I was just doing some tuning and adjustments on the straight way when I ran head long into a pallet. This wiped out 1 shock and the front left bulkhead. Well since out of the 6 people that showed up only 1 other guy was going to be competition, he was running an electric MT, (2 were running store bought electric Humvees and 1 nitro was out due to a dead throttle servo and the other nitro was out due to a stripped spur gear) I figured what the heck and used some electrical tape to tape up the front left side so I could race anyway.
Well the race went in the electrics favor the first round. Due to my lack of driving ability. (I'm still a newbie.) And the second round went to me because his second battery pack wasn't as charged as he thought. I ended up winning 2 tickets to Thursday night fights....$60 value...

Anyway...I decided to buy the 2.5 Ultimate Ti/Aluminum Conversion w/ 3mm Skids at Great Assembly.

So after I get this installed and play around with it a bit I will give my feedback.

Also at the end of the races I realized that I have broke both front bulkheads, the Shock tower, 1 shock, bumber and assembly parts to put it all together.

Right on your in alaska too! I am down here in Kenai. The plastic on these cars dont like the cold. They just start breaking. I had a friend that had his t maxx studed up and it did way better then mine. he could actualy steer and move wear i would just spin out and hit the snowbanks. Sounds like you broke alot of stuff in one shot, oh well i guess fixin them is half the fun, right? Later

So what'd ya end up doing? Get the GAs or gonna wait for the Super Duties?
