get some 5mm or 6mm lock nuts to hold the wheels on, make sure u get the tire on the hex plastic piece, and make sure u tighten it down all the way. if ur tires still fall off, use some thread lock. I have NEVER had a tire come off my t-maxx or sportmaxx, never even had my nuts coem lose on my tires. i did once have the tire come off the rim... glued 3 tires out of the 4 on my t-maxx. lol. woops there goes the tire rolling down the road.

i did they are made for the max the bottom of the locknut actually fills the entire lug hole. maybe the axle is worn? weird
 
how old is ur t-maxx? i have had mine for over year, and the guy before me had it for a year (got a good deal on it). what kind of rims do u run?

i run proline velocity 6 and my maxx is well, I've had it since they were out
 
You may want to try the aluminum axle/rim nuts that go behind the wheel on the axle. They will allow you to crank the nut down more since they won't flex like the stock plastic one.

I have the AL ones and haven't had the problem. I did when i had the stock plastic ones though.
 
Here's peice of useless trivia for lock washers and lock nuts. They are designed to be used once and only once by the manufacturer. I've always thought this was a bit conservative, expecially when you can factor brute strength into the tightening process.
 
In my early days (haha), half the time I'd found my wheels to be loose after a good run. (Bashing, flat-run, whatever...)

I'm ashamed that you guys have not mentioned Blue LocTite.

EP? Why run the risk of stripping or metal fatigue??

I don't worry about the axle threads... I worry about my nuts.

I'm silly that way.

Yeah, The Blue Loctite works great for this purpose as it's easier to break off then the real deal red loctite (for auto purposes blue thread lock is pretty much worthless).
