wheelies

Even if your slipper is new, if it slipped excessively, even once, it could be glazed. This would make it possible to slip, even fully tightened. That's why we always tell folks to clean up slipper pads and clutch shoes and bells with fine grit sand paper when they have that stuff apart. Then blast them off with nitro cleaner or da. Even if it isn't the problem they're working on. A couple drops of nitro fuel on the clutches wreaks havoc as well.

yes matt i am running the stock tyres, and the tune is not bad, and the slipper is not slipping extensively, as far as i know, i will tighten it and try again

ok to be honest i didnt grit the slipper pads up, but the clutch bell i went round with fine sand paper to make it a bit rough for the clutch shoes to bind, and cleaned with break cleaner, as was the closest thing next to me at the time as i work in the motor trade lol,

Brake cleaner does the trick. Just have to keep it off of plastic. There's a respected member on here that even cleans his whole rig with brake cleaner. He's just quick to get it off of the plastic parts. Sounds like your clutches should be fine. Try the pinch test. That'll tell you if it can be leaned a bit more. Pinch the fuel line as close to the carb as you can.

thanks again matt, and i will try asap, its a bit cloudy out here atm, but willlet you know how it goes :)
