i have heard that you can make your car wheelie by tightning the transmission, is this true? how could i make my lightning stadium RR wheelie (if the above method dosnt work):buggy1:

On a standard truggy there is a center diff. No Tranny.
 
Just curious why you would want your Lightning to wheelie? It was designed specifically to keep all fours on the ground. It was not designed to be on two wheels. If you really want a rig that will wheelie, get an HPI Wheelie King. If you really wanted to wheelie, your could add some really heavy diff fluid to your center diff to basically lock it. I am not sure even that will do it though.

dont know why i want to i just thought if it can be done by simply turning a screw then why not. I wouldn't want it to wheelie all the time just for like 20 odd mins until i get bored of it.
 
you can't do that, the screw would be refering to a slipper clutch, and no your car is a truggy, it doesn't have one.
 
I think the only way to make it happen would be to lock up the rear and center diffs with really heavy oils. I think this would cause some kind of handling problems, or damage, but it would wheelie (assuming you have enough power).

Yeah.. I can't imagine that locking both the center and rear diffs would be a good thing... although I am surprised almost daily at what folks can do with their RC's. But you are right... if he had enough ponies he could get the front wheels off the ground for sure. Maybe he could pull the front shaft and make it a 2WD machine... do you think that would do it?

If the center diff wasn't locked, it would just throw all of the power to the front, and not move. Kind of a lose/lose situation there. :thumbsup:
 
I've seen a truggy pull a wheelie... or at least a revo with a center diff (can't remember which). The guy had one hell of an engine in it though. It was just a vid and it was screaming.
