Hello all

If i want to put some wheels on my savage 3.5 that are 17mm hex

and i currently have stock 14mm hex, can i just change the hex nut or do i have to change anything else?

Many thanks

THose OFNA hex's won't work on stock savage axles will they? I run them on my aftershock axles, but I had to drill the back out a bit so they would seat right.

I run the savage XL 17mm hex's and HPI's flange nuts on my savage. I had to buy a new set of axles to replace the chrome ones (reverse thread side) with black ones as the flange nuts HPI uses on the XL are all normal thread.

So, these parts are what I used:

Been working fine for me this entire season. I have 17mm revo wheels/tires on it now. Had to cut the little notches out of the hex's that traxxas puts in their 17mm wheels, but worked just fine otherwise.

u can just use the 17mm hex with the 17mm pins and use the lug nuts with the washer
