Get a magazine called Wizard Guide to Comics. This will give you a rough idea of what some of the comics you have may be worth. The X-Men from that era are worth good money as well as Batman, Superman etc. If you have a list I could check it out for you. Also, if you happen to have a really good one and it is close to mint condition, it may be a good idea to get it graded and slabbed. This could double or even triple its value. I was heavily into collecting comics from about 1980 to around 1992. Most I have sold off.
