Ok, last time i played with me nitro 4 tec it gave me a very hard time trying to start it. After 30 minutes of trying to figure it out, it started, then i'd turn it off to put the body on and then it would be hard to start again. Again, i finally got it started and got it to run for at least 20 minutes. I then re-filled the tank and this time, it wouldn't start at all! == I've about had it with this car and i'm so ready to shoot it! I've removed all the parts and can't find ANYTHING wrong with them. Compression is fine, piston and sleeve looks ok, fuel lines are clear, settings are pretty good (At least to my knowledge) and i've about replaced everything that serves a purpose. (To the engine) What do i do now? Get a new engine? Bring it to the hobby store? Also, are all nitro cars hard to start or is it just with me and this POS 4 Tec?!?! :arrr: Please help, i've wasted so much money on the car really don't wanna have to sell it or buy something new, i wanna learn how to make this thing work! Thanks...

Have you tried a new glow plug? Maybe your plug is fried.

Slapped on a new one, then tried another plug and it still wouldn't start.

It may be a tuning issue. I would suggest you get the needles back to factory spec (break-in settings) and tune the engine all over again. You may also have an airleak.

Tuning, maybe, but as for the airleak, do you mean in the engine? Tubes? Details man, details! I'm an idiot with an RC!!! I'm about to do this :hammer: to my car!!

check backplate and carb for air leak. You can use sensor-safe RTV silicone to seal it. you can get one of those in wal-mart.

This could be the problem. I remember taking the engine apart but i did not put any type of sealant. Could this be the problem?
