technical info

the sad fact of this deal is there are a lot of people who don't
know poop.
I got into this 8 months ago and probably know more than
50% of the people at the local track.
I would ask someone for suggestions and they wouldn't have a

clue! (or didn't want to help me)
I get most of my help here, and ussually it helps.

just got my second issue of RC car driver, and let me tell you, it delivers, lots of information and not a huge ad base! again it is still new and time will tell. but once again the reviews where good, preety honest to what I have expernced on one of the cars, and the overal selection of content was good. The only thing I don't really car for (personal preference) is who is doing what on the circuits (rankings and such) but thats becuase I am just not into that sort of thing yet!

Did anybody notice the HPI R40 review in either Nitro or RCCA? The actual test was a paragraph. Another mag did it at the same time, I think Xtreme, and it was much longer. I can't quite remember exactly how long, but it had a lot more info and was a much, much better overall review.

I have to agree with the things said so far. I would like to see them cut out most of the ads, but I know that isn't possible. The least they could do is limit the amount of ads a certain company can have. Ofna has at least 15 pages of ads in every magazine. We don't really need to see every single product they have. Limit them to a few pages and I would be alot happier.
just got my second issue of RC car driver
What cars did they test?

Ofna Ld3, small mini T, lightning street 1/7th, Xray T1 raycer, ofna hyper PBS RTR, trinty G4,HPI r 40 (huge review 6 pages), tempest gladiator. NOt a bad line up for there 2nd mag! all the reviews are very good, with lots of pictrures details comments and how they where set-up

8 tests in one issue. It takes RCCA 2-3 issues to get that many. I think I will subscribe to Driver.

Just recieved the new RCCA January issue. Again, a whole lotta ads. Some useful info and reviews.
