What's one worth?

LHS has a used (but appears in remarkable shape) Losi XXX_SCT mini. Everything's there except the TX. He's asking $100 and is willing to let me trade some stuff in to knock the price down. Wish I knew more about what came stock on these so I knew what was upgraded but it looks like the shocks have been atleast as they are blue and threaded, not typical crappy losi shocks. It does have a lipo in it, just dont know if its any good (have new a zippy 1000mah 7.4, will this work in it? ), wondering if $100 is a decent price for one? I like my 1/10 SCT and SCB, thinking this will be fun too.

Nobody? Will prob just buy it and see. $100 is worth the risk I suppose.

i really do not know anything about these
no inerest really since i will be getting rid of all my 1/18 scale stuff
Did you check out the losi site?
i am sure they will show how how it came stock and what upgrades cost and then price the batteries
then you can judge a good price from there.

Thanks for the reply. I havnt looked much at the upgrades, only the parts explosion to get an idea of how its built and so on. Hard to tell much about what the components actually look like based on a parts explosion plus I've only looked at the car briefly twice, mosts looking for broken parts, how hard it was used, and missing stuff. Looks exceptional and only defect is an empty shock so assuming a blown seal which is no biggie. I feel confident that $100 is fair enough and will be easy to recover if it turns to be a lemon by parting it out.

Never seen a xxx mini, Alien13 would know, but the only downfall of losi products is that RPM doesn't make any hop-ups for them.
