Well I finally came up with the conclusion that the motor must be done. The guys at another hobby shop said that the compression is to low. So what to do rebuild my existing mill or should i get a new one. I was thinking about the Picco or the Siro. Which is faster and which would i get more useage out of before it died like this one. I just dont get how a motor with 1 gal through it takes a crap.

you could do the traxxas trade in and get the 3.3 or go with a nice o.s .18tm. i dont own a revo but I've heard good things about the 18tm, and the 3.3 can be picked up cheep with a trade in.

I like the 3.3 but dont know if i want to get another traxxas mill. It kinda left a bad tast in my mouth. Is it a strait up drop in though.

I think you just got dud. My 2.5r runs great and I'm going to get the 3.3. But if you don't want another traxx go with the os.

well i have a 2.5r and it has about 12 to 13 fgallons through it and runs great it doesn't mean all mills will run that long but it has a lot to do with how a person takes care of there mill and how they run there mill so you have to keep that in mind i run alot of 2.5 and only had probs with 1 and it was bad from the first pull but other then that one i love the mill and never had tunning probs once i broke it in all the way after that they hold a tune great i would give traxxas another chance to change your mind i would personally go with the new 3.3 it drop right in with no probs and the claim to have insane power and from what i have seen they have lots of power and torque (seen one run in a tmaxx and helped the guy tune it ) but like all decisions you have to make it no one else

Both the 3.3 and the O.S. aredirect drop ins, and one that is not mentioned that I really think you should take a peak at is the RB 323 !!!!:ponder2:

The OS .18TM is a direct drop in as is the 3.3. The OS .18TZ is not a direct drop in. It's not always the persons fault. My 2.5R ran great and was a great racer until the fuel tank o-ring went from one heat to the next and over heated. Between heats looked it over, couldn't find anything, ran it again, overheated while richening it up and then found the o-ring. Killed the mill.
