What's a good tire for a track with somewhat hard packed dirt, dry/dusty most of the time.

Id say most of the Proline "pin" type tires would be good. Alot of them are real soft compound though so they would get eaten up fast on pavement if you do much road bashing.

I am going to say +1 on SNG. A pin tire or even a set of Pro-line Bow-ties would be pretty good on loose dry track. I ran them a lot in Albuquerque....VERY DRY there

Thanks guys for the info!
I'd read somewhere that a soft compound was good for wet/muddy tracks, so I assume that a harder compound would be better for dry??

Do the Proline tires come in different compounds??
and can you tell on the tire what compound it is??
