I got a pretty good box from Sears last year but it's just getting too crowded in there. I am looking for another box for either my onroad car's parts or for the savage's. I guess I am really looking for somehting with lots of compartments. Links are appreciated.

I use a Flying field box as my tote to carry around, and it works pretty awesome. its light, lots of drawers, and space, and is pretty compact. Ill see if I can find a link. As far as spares and stuff I have a Plano 6 drawer Tackle box I use also.

Plano 777 tackle box 35 bucks but it holds all my RC stuff w/ room to spare....Including fluids/cleaners & charger

Ryhton bought one last year I think he bought it a walmart?
Ill pm him and ask him.. Its pretty cool it has a handle and wheels so you can pull it around..Lots of room. The bottom compartment is big enouf to put two gallons of fuel in there..
Or a half case of beer on ice :)

No not that one its a stand up one that you can pull around..
It has a removable top box and the middle box is a revolving tray... Its pretty cool I think he ony payed 40$ for it

Sounds nice, this thread came just in time. I was about to get one of those big plastic tubs to throw all my stuff in but this sounds much better. I'll see if my Walmart has one.

I see it all the time now that I think about it, I think home depot has it also. I didn't realize it could hold a couple jugs of fuel in the bottom. Looks like it takes up very little real estate which is exactly what I need. Be getting mine tomorrow, the wife will be happy she can have her dining table back....

That is cool....love the wheels...and Zandors idea about the cold beer!!!!

40 bucks???....my B-day is next month... i may just have to get this.

Last year I would just toss it in the truck, with the buggy. I kept all my tools, fuel, starter box and spare parts in there. Some times we would fill the bottom full of beer and ice depending on where we were going. I haven't used it yet this year because I have been running the beetle and you don't need much more than the beetle and fuel and you are good to go.

Its a better invention then sliced bread :) I to like the cold beer part!!!

yo zandor, I opened the bottom box about a week ago and found an Ice House still in there. Oh and yes I drank it down, no guilt at all......hehehe

LOL hey there was more then one in there I no it!!!

I've got a plano from about 13 years ago when i started in rc. its served me well all this time. similar to the 777, its got 4 drawers and a large compartment on top.

I also have the 2in1 stanly box its a great box. And then i also have a plano tackle box for my smaller parts

I tried the stanley box and got pissed cause it fell over 3 times spilling all my small parts all over the ground......granted it was knocked over by people not paying attention but that didn't help me any at the time......I still have one and only use it when I bring everything out.....I haul wheels, starter box (on top) and fuel in it, no more small parts....
