Yeah, we were waiting for some dad jokes here too.
We should also talk lighting too. I have built my own lights using some COB's (chip on board). It's very simple. A basic bar of aluminum will soak up any heat. I used citizen brand COB's. CREE, Luminus(

?) Citizen; all great products. Cobkits.com has what I used.
my guy! finally someone on here speaking my first language lol, i have tried many lights over the years, I'm old school, i still prefer my hps. I've grown quite a few under hps, led, cobs, cree, had a HELLA fancy quantum board,
made par maps when i was rocking the leds, but in a matter pf personal preferance i stick with the hps on a light mover.
the amare solar bar 8 was fanfreakingtastic, but you have to make a map or you're gonna be upset,

(ask me how i know... larfy ass anger trying to return)
i really liked the es300 when i ran 3 of em at once, great coverage, for the 5x9 grow. highly recomend these lights

I've grown in hydro, but my region gets VERY hot and humid in the summer, keeping resevoirs at safe temps was a pita, coco coir was fantasticly easy after the initial prep work, gotta flush out that salt!! i ran a 12 pot setup off one rez with a timer, it was almost completely automated, everything on a timer, ph reguators hooked up so it never dipped to a dangerous level. just plug n play. but that got too damn boring. i like to tweak my environments, and with that setupo it was hard to fix anything cause it all ran so smoothly. this doesn't sit well with me as i thrive on chaos.
fox farms soil is fantastic to start with, hell its great the whole way thru, but its kind of like an rtr soil. yes its good, yes it does the job, and does it well, but none of us keep them rtr for long thats when you make the jump over to super soil the kit of the garden
this was the way. holy dang. once youve made your own soil.... well its hard to go another route after that lol.
its spectacular/ literally just add water and let the plant take care of the rest. but your plants do it better lol.
like i can feed you a cheeseburger 3 times a day every day, you will survive. you will gain weight, you will make it. but if you have a buffet to choose from... now were getting fat, eating what we want when we want.
this is the SS method, we provide all of the inputs and let the plant decide what it wants
I've got my own beans i personally bred over a ten year span, pheno hunting for males was a new experience lol, but learning about what makes the genetics was a whole nother rabbit hole. but the pride of having the best around and knowing everyone else has the same GG#4 crossed with gelato that everyone has. not me baby, and after streamlining them for so many years hunting the traits i want and breeding for those specific traits, i have a tailored strain that just ticks every danged ol box i got. nothing gets close to it
I've made feminized beans with collodial silver, femized is just a fancy catchphrase for hermaphodite tho.
PLEASE STOP POPPING FEMALE BEANS!!!!!!!!!
they are just a female plant that has had collodial silver sprayed on it,
If you spray a female cannabis plant with colloidal silver during early flower, she’ll stop making buds and instead throw out little male “balls.” The kicker is those sacs are full of pollen that’s genetically female. because no male pollen has ever been introduced.
That means you can collect the pollen and use it on another female plant. Since both parents are female, every single seed that comes out of that cross will also be female.
That’s the whole trick behind colloidal silver—it lets you force a female-to-female pollination and make your own feminized seeds
but its a lie. they are hemaphrodites and eventually WILL with 100% cetrainty herm out and one will eventually pollinate your grow. now the beans will again still be technically female, (again no male pollen introduced) but your flowers will still get bred, still make seeds, and still ruin your grow.
i squish rosin on my press is my prefered method of consumption, rosin. i love making some ice hash, I've made dry ice hash, wow amazing results from that, and probably how ill make it from that day on. dry ice for the winnnnnnnnn
I've worked with some famous breeders during my time in michigan, met subcool and was a part of the strain chernobyl that he develpoed.
i have met most of the members of the cornbread mafia, and was an activist for NORML for 15 years. i was lucky enough to argue for decriminalization in front of Ky state congress at the capitol.
i dont often get a chance to talk about this topic sadly lol so please excuse me if and when i get overly excited talking about my main passion lol
